APPRENTICE KITCHEN DESIGNER - TONBRIDGE

Due to continued branch expansion, we have a vacancy for a full time Apprentice Kitchen Designer at our showroom in Tonbridge, Kent.

What you will be responsible for:
As an Apprentice Kitchen Designer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the customer service is of the highest calibre. Working a 40 hour basic week, standard working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm and Saturday mornings 9am – 3pm as required (at overtime rate). You will be involved in putting together competitive quotations and the designing of bespoke kitchens for a range of trade and retail clients. You will assist with the interpretation of the clients brief, this may be from drawings, site measure or a design concept. You will learn how to plan a kitchen for practicality of use and aesthetic appearance.

HGV DRIVER
- UCKFIELD BRANCH

We have a vacancy for a full time Class 2 HGV Driver at our branch in Uckfield, East Sussex.

What you will be responsible for:

You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of products to customers. Working a 45 hour basic week, standard working hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am – 5.30pm. Saturday mornings 8am – 12.30pm and Sundays 10am – 1pm as required (paid at overtime rate).

As a Class 2 HGV Driver, your key responsibilities will include:
• Delivering goods to customers
• Assisting yard staff
• Serving customers in the yard
• Keeping vehicle clean and tidy

Who we are looking for:

The ideal Class 2 HGV Driver will have a friendly, outgoing and assertive nature. You must be able to work independently and within a team.

The successful applicant would ideally have experience with building materials and with remote controlled lorry mounted crane offloading, but full Health and Safety training will be given. A fork lift licence would also be preferable.

You should also be familiar with multi-drop local delivery schedules and have a clean current driving licence. The applicant must have all the relevant certification and provide copies in advance. Applicants must also possess a positive customer service and 'can do' attitude.

CLEANER - NEWHAVEN BRANCH

We have a vacancy for a part time Cleaner at our branch in Newhaven, East Sussex.

What you will be responsible for:

You will be working on varied cleaning tasks. Your main aim will be to carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, hoovering, emptying bins, cleaning toilets and the office areas.
