East Grinstead branch manager Tim Briance was awarded with a Foundation Degree in Builders’ Merchanting, whilst Business Development Manager Laura Pierce and Operations and Systems Manager Dave Clark were both presented with their Post-Graduate Diploma in Independent Merchant Leadership and Strategy.
Digital Marketing and Communications Manager Jamie Pierce was the proud recipient of the degree of Master of Science Multi-Unit Leadership and Strategy.
The Builders Merchants Federation Diploma in Merchanting was awarded to Shelly Hodges, Mike McDonald, Nick Needham, Ryan Philo, Tim Rogers and Claire-Marie Rowland.
This management development programme offers managers and trainee managers advanced leadership training specifically tailored to the needs of the builders’ and timber merchant sector.
The Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Trade Business Services was awarded to six of our rising stars: Daniel Bateup, Ryan Channon, Rebecca Coleman, Ben Curtis, Alex Kitson and Joshua Styles. This BTEC Apprenticeship is designed for those working in a business-to-business sales environment, building long-term client relationships; managing accounts and processing orders.
Tristan Jarrett and Stephen Bruty passed their Cisco Interconnecting Network Devices exam, which tests knowledge and skills around technology and infrastructure. It is designed to evaluate a candidate’s ability to successfully install, operate, and troubleshoot a small branch office network.
CPC IN ROAD HAULAGE
Josh Scudder now has his Transport Manager’s Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Road Haulage. This Freight Transportation Association award which demonstrates ‘professional competence’ is a fundamental requirement of the operator licensing system, for both Standard National and Standard International licences.
