Parker Building Supplies' Faversham branch
provide paving for local bowls club

BOWLED OVER BY PARKERS’
PAVING SUPPLIES

Following two years of planning and fundraising, Boughton-Under-Blean Bowls Club, which includes Parkers’ nearby Faversham branch among its sponsors, have proudly unveiled their new clubhouse facilities and Faversham MP Helen Whately was on hand to celebrate the occasion.

The club began work last June on the redevelopment with a 'Ground Breaking' ceremony for the start of digging operations. Over the last 11 months members have helped to reduce the cost of the works by offering their labour free of charge and Parkers’ contribution of the paving slabs shown in the picture below was greatly appreciated by all.

The club received grants from Kent County Council, Swale Borough Council and Boughton Parish Council but without Parkers’ generosity the project may well have been delayed. We are, as ever, happy to support worthwhile causes in the local community.
